Games can instantly push you into gaming laptops. There is no middle ground or "light gaming" unless it's a card game.
I'd forget the Surface Pro for gaming too. Operation in sunlight is rare since your competing with a nuclear power source. At best I use mine in the shade and not in sunlight.

I'm very tempted to get a Surface Pro 3. I've seen them in the stores, and they look gorgeous. When I saw it hands on for the first time, I was almost tempted to splash out and buy one.
This brings me to my dilemma. If money was not an issue, I would buy the SP3 without a doubt. I'm sure it's value for money.
However, I have bought an iPad and something similar to an ultraportable. The iPad was quite restrictive due to iOS. The laptop is perfect size and weight-wise, but really underpowered. Struggles with Windows 8.
All I really want to do is watch some movies, play a few games here and there (nothing heavy), surf the web, etc. I basically need something that can do those things, plus be lightweight, good to use outside in really sunny conditions, and easy to travel with.
But I won't be using it a lot (I have an Alienware mx18 laptop that I use all the time), so that is a dilemma! The SP3 ticks pretty much all the boxes for what I need, but the price is a little high for the lack of use that I would give it.
Any suggestions on what tablet/ultraportable I should get? Thanks
