What system should I get? (cant actually listen to both)

They are both Sonys. It was between Sony sound system and a Philips... but unfortunately the Sony sounded better. *Is in love with Philips*.

But anyways, I know the Sony Sound system (Just the speaker system) sounds good, but another one came out for the same price ($250). It's much smaller, has a DVD player, and 120 more Watts.

Now I really dont care about the size and the DVD player so much. The sound is the only thing I care about. So which do you think would sound better? If they are going to be *very* similar then I would rather have the DVD one because it is smaller and I wouldnt have to buy a DVD player.
