what switch for wired and wireless internet

by denni0302 / May 25, 2008 8:07 PM PDT

this may sound stupid but a friend wants to get a laptop only if he can wirelessly connect to his existing ADSL2 line which is connected with wires to his desktop. is this switch what i would be looking for?

if not can someone tell me what switch can be used for it, or just another way of doing it.

thanks

This is one, indeed. But there are many others.

I'm sure the local computershop can advice him, if he doesn't trust buying it online.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
