Question

what sorta shoulder injury i have?

i was lifting up this big pool umbrella i could feel my shoulder get tired and ache a bit now its been few days and my shoulder aches when im relaxing but i have full motion and strength, its been a week now still aches sometimes did i tear something or just strained ?

I don't recommend any particular doctor or treatment, but this site has been around for some time. Use it for basic information, then go to a hands-on medic.

...and sip on it over a weekend. It will relax the painful area and if it doesn't, shortly you won't care that much anyway.

If muscle damage, certain enzymes are released during the repair process. These can have a relatively short window of time to detect. Your age and physical condition could be a factor. Quite often one can experience "referred" pain which means location of the injury and what feels sore are in different areas. Nerve injuries in the spinal area are often culprits but you'd need to have a doctor determine which route to take. You'd also risk expensive diagnostic procedures for something that just might remedy itself.

I won't advise anyone as to what they should do but, if this becomes chronic and debilitating, you'd definitely want to take advantage of professional medical services.
