I bought an IBM 21P at an auction several years ago and I love it! Max resolution is 1360 x 1024 and it works great for gaming. The only problem is that it weighs about 75 pounds, but since it stays put on my desktop anyway, it really isn't an issue. My wife wants me to get an LCD, but until I can find a good one designed with gaming in mind, I'll stick with my trusty IBM.
This failed after a year but Envision replaced it under warranty, no questions asked. Kudos to them.
I use a CRT 15" Time monitor and a PAL 12" TV monitor for training purpopes.

I run a 20.1 inch DELL 1000 UltraSharp LCD.
Screen resolution 1600 by 1200 and the Prent is still big enough to see with ease and I love it.
The Dell went black after 2 years. The 2 Sony monitors I had previously lasted 10 and 9 years.
I always thought I had a good unit if it worked after a week of use. 2 years is an odd time for
electronics to fail. I suspect Dell has some quality problems, but they won't replace it for free.
