what should I do if my laptop starts smoking from the sides

My sister and I were watching videos about the news and then apparently I started to smell something bad and i saw that smoke was coming out of my laptop. I quickly started to close it to make the smoke to stop and it did. then i put it away then 2 or 3 hours later i tried to turn it on but it didn't want to. please help me fix it quick here is my email lesliepstr123@gmail.com

Take it to a repair counter and get an estimate.

Then you get to make a choice of fix or replace.

You left out make, model, age and such but that's only useful if we opt to supply what may be the cheap replacement.

This is a serious failure and no offense if you are asking how to fix then you are heading to a repair counter and most like a shopping adventure.
