What SD card is best for Canon 20D?

Apr 16, 2005 12:42PM PDT

I'm so excited- I've just ordered the Canon 20D- thanks to Canon's $100 rebate offer! I decided an extra $300 for the Canon 20D was worth it over the XT because of speed thanks to previous comments from members on earlier question. Now, I need a card that will keep up with the camera- I tested one in Best Buy- it was a Sandisk Ultra 256mb and it did not seem to slow the camera down at all- I was hoping for some opinions on the Ultra or Extreme III?

I used to have fun adjusting levels as one of my first steps in Photoshop on a digital image. The 20D doesn't give me the opportunity. Every shot is fully spread across the spectrum. The only time there is a problem is if you choose the wrong white balance setting. Leave it on auto at first.

Compact Flash - Not SD

Hi. I have a 20D too. Went for a gig CF card. With 23 shot bursts and the ease this camera works you'll wind up filling up a 256 mb CF in no time. Spend the $100 plus fora gig.
