Its a picture of a lamp and a wall. As you can see it looks like the pixels are huge and the colors are all messed up

Reset Camera to factory settings.

It is possible that you have inadvertently set something which is causing the problem.
Look in your camera User Manual at the chapter called "Setup Menu".
Look for "Initialization" in the Setup Menu.
It may be spelled "Initialisation".

Initialization will set all the options to factory default values.

See if that solves the problem.
