I have a 47" LED LDC tv and need a wall mount that will let me tilt it A LOT (~50 degrees).

Let's be honest.

While I've seen such an install, no HDTV maker will honor the warranty in such installs. Yup, it did work fine for years but is that issue about the maker not saying it is OK going to stop us?

Bummer

That hadn't occurred to me, that the tv manufacturer wouldn't be comfortable with their tv's being tilted so drastically. I think I remember some flat screens tvs not being able to withstand being upside down or laid flat horizontally. I didn't connect that with my issue. Sigh. Not sure how much risk I want to tolerate regarding my brand new really expensive toy. On the other hand, high up on the wall really is the only place I'd want to place it. Grr....
