What's the Difference?

Hi There,
I have always used a regular computer and I was wondering what are the differences in an IMAC or say an HP computer with Windows XP SP2? Thank You!

There is only one difference between the two. The operating systems. An iMac uses its Apple operating system which is Mac OS X Tiger v10.4 and while Microsoft has its (as you already know) Windows XP SP2.

The difference between the two is that one runs a Microsoft Operating System (OS) such as WIndows XP and the other runs the Apple Operating System, OS X.
More correctly now though, the iMac runs the Apple OS AND the Microsoft OS.

The really major difference between the two Operating Systems is that the Microsoft one is capable of running all of the 114,000 known viruses, plus sypware and malware, while the iMac cannot run them.
