What's the big deal with the iPhone

Here's the problem. With Microsoft, we expect their products to be poorly written and we also expect performance issues. So, when the system even turns on, we are somewhat pleased. With Apple products, we expect that they work the first time right out of the box, which in most cases they do.

If I add up the hours troubleshooting MS networks, MS OS, malware, spyware, and rootkits, well I'm still adding the hours. It in no way compares to the mobileme hickups. Oh, how soon you have forgotten. How many windoze systems have you reinstalled or re-imaged or just plain rebuilt because they did not work properly. I'm still waiting for the killer PC app that has not already been developed in Open Source.
