What's the best way to rip my DVDs to hard drive

hi sorry to bother you. My brother has purchased Movie Collectorz and hand scanner. He's got a WD 8tb nas drive and he wants ME to load all his dvds and Blue Rays onto it.

Hi thanks for taking the time to reply. I have briefly looked at your suggestion have you actualy tried this product / would I need to obtain something separately for Blu Rays? Again thanks for your time I am new to all this.

On another note

You might want to convert the dvd or blue ray file to AVI for storing on the drive, it retains all of the movie but has a much smaller footprint, you can hold more and easier to stream.
