That's an easy to answer question: http://www.oracle.com/webapps/dialogue/ns/dlgwelcome.jsp?p_ext=Y&p_dlg_id=9426595&src=7011672&Act=18
But it doesn't run Windows. It runs Solaris. So I don't think this knowledge will help you with getting your Multi-function 2004 printer working.
But then the same goes for your searches for "x86". Your idea that "my XP Home 32 bit just doesn't have the X86 platform" is wrong. It runs on a X86 platform (that's your PC!).

I've just noticed, in my searches about ".NET 3.5 Family Update......x86", there's an available
Oracle x86 data storage system? Anyone know anything about this?
Is 3.5 that important? In other words, Would lack of it it cause my scanner to suddenly not work? Or do I just need to try for a better install of my Multi-function 2004 printer?
