What's happening with New Releases?

by MalJ / December 1, 2008 1:07 AM PST

For years now, I have gone to Releases...See All New Releases

to review the latest in development tools

For the last couple of weeks, this appears to be broken, as I get the same list every time initially (beginning with NoteTab Lite 5.7) followed by a list without dates.

What happened to the view all in reverse date order?

The last couple of updates to the CNET interface have been progressively worse.

This will probably make me stop using CNET as my default file lookup site.

I'll give it a couple more weeks but...

There have been a few difficulties...
by John.Wilkinson / December 1, 2008 1:35 AM PST

The site for developers to upload their software to,, was closed for a couple weeks while it was overhauled, so new releases were not posted. In addition, a known issue arose regarding version control, causing some aspects of the Cnet/ site to report that the program was no longer available or not appear in some listings. However, has re-opened and the latter issue is expected to be resolved over the course of the next week when a patch is deployed to the live site. Give it a little time and see if the issue is worked out as expected, but if not post back and a new bug report can be filed.
