what programs came with the Dell Inspiron 1545 Model #PP41L?

by kingofadventure / April 19, 2013 5:56 AM PDT

My laptop wouldn't download anything so took to local Office store. They in turn said they wiped everything off computer, bringing it back to when it was first purchased. It doesn't seem to have any office programs.

You meant the trial. That's a free download while you sort your office license out.

Hi Kingofadventure,

If you have purchased the system with Microsoft Office pre-installed, you would have received a disc with a product key for activation.

If not, then the system might have been shipped with the starter version of Microsoft Office. If the system was wiped out clean, it cannot be downloaded as it is a complementary software shipped with brand new system.

Please reply if you have any questions.

Thanks and Regards,
Appu S

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
