Thanks, jackewing. I'm definitely going to buy a new aio, but I'm messing with this one for awhile yet. Also wanted to pass on something that might help someone else: Start, Control Panel, Printers and Faxes; then right-click the aio that's having problems, and choose Properties. Click the Advanced tab and then the Print Processor button. You should see the name of your aio(s) and also WinPrint. To the right will be a list of data types to choose from. I've combined my Lexmark X83 print processor with the data type NT EMF 1.003 and it's doing a respectable job. Oh, and if I want to print a photo, I have to change the color choice to Vivid, as opposed to the normal Auto or Natural setting. Under these circumstances, the color comes out more like Natural normally would. I'm going to mess with the Lexmark for awhile, just for the experience. Thanks again to everyone in the newsgroup!
