I recently purchased a Canon 922 and absolutely love it! I do a great deal of printing, purchase generic cartridges on line and have had great success. I used to have an Epson and had the same problem that you are having. It was replaced once and only six months later I had the same issue. I vowed I would never but another Epson product as they would not do anything about it even thought it was only 6 months old. Have purchased Canon ever since and couldn't be happier.
Hi:
I hope someone can help me. I've been using the same Epson Stylus color 740 printer for years and it may have reached its end. For one thing, the black ink won't appear. I have bought two new Epson cartridges and have cleaned the print heads, etc. several times and nothing appears. (However, the color works) I know it's not the cartridges themselves as they are expensive authentic Epson cartridges and not the compatibles I've used --successfully--in the past. The problem is, I'm not a techie person and I haven't upgraded my operating system since I got this iMac OSX 10.5.8 about 4 years ago. Everything has been working well and I saw no need to create problems. Now I'm wondering that if I get a new printer I will have to upgrade my OS. And which printer should I get? I'd like something simple that will print business letters and manuscript pages. Nothing fancy. Can anyone please offer any suggestions??? Sharon C.
