General discussion

what other utilities should I have on my computer

Sep 26, 2007 2:13AM PDT

I had a virus recently and had it fixed by Future Shop. They talked me into buying Windows Live One Care. Is this the only utility I need on this computer? I tried downloading Zone Alarm and disabling WLOC, but the computer froze up. Is WLOC a good program, or should I have other utilities downloaded to this computer and which ones? Thanks for your help anyone.

It's called ALEXA. This spyware is given a free pass by Microsoft antivirus and their other offerings. What else are they allowing to get in?

Visit our Spyware, viruses, & security forum and in the sticky our moderators and members share what they use. Most are free.
