Question

What OS is my used Sony Xperia S using?

Jun 30, 2013 6:50PM PDT

Hi again,

As I purchased my Sony Xperia S second hand and said to be 7 months old, I would like to know what Operating System it is currently using and if I can update it please?
Thanks,
Phil.

Originally, last year, it came with Android 2.3. But it could be that later models came with a higher version of Android, and it could be that the previous owner updated it. So the only one who can actually answer the question what version it is currently using is you.

Kees, I went to Sony UK, signed up, and on the Help chatline, found that it is Android 4.0.4 which is the latest.
Main Menu>Settings>About Phone(scroll to bottom last item listed under 'SYSTEM')>and on the list it tells you the Android version.
Thanks again,
Phil.
