Clarification Request
*What* precisely is 'slow'(?)

Web pages loading, apps not closing or responding, etc?

First step is to verify all unnecessary apps running in background are closed.

My son just had that issue.

It was the apps he installed. We went to no installed apps, it was fine, then we installed the apps he really used. Then as we installed one of the apps the performance tanked. So that's a bad app. We think it's AD SUPPORTED so that means it was downloading advertising and slowing it all down.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
