General discussion

what mp3 would you advise i get?

May 7, 2008 5:45AM PDT

Ive tried which? reports and the like.. yet i am struggling to find an MP3 that meets my specification, although i am sure some must be out there. i was hoping you could help advise me. my ideal specification is:

- music uploading by drag and drop
- good battery life
- a compact device- no bigger than a video ipod ideally
- something within my budget (under 200 pounds)

It would be a bonus if the device could be charged from the mains, not having to be connected to a USB. However, i believe there are devices that can be bought that provide a USB socket off the mains, so this is not essential.

Im on windows XP if that helps... thank you for any advice you can give

the sansa fuze, similar physically to the ipod nano but the 8GB is only $130 and has the drag and drop
no modern mp3 player (that I know of) bundles the AC adapter but if you go to ebay you can probably get a cheap USB to wall adapter

Sony NWZ-A700 or -800, fantastic sound, fantastic sound, fantastic sound and good size. Drag & drop, very good battery life. Nice included earbuds.

You wont regret.
