What MP3 player should I buy??

Sep 21, 2005 4:13AM PDT

I have just started a new job working in a metal warehouse cooler. I will be by my self for 8 hours a night picking orders. I need a player that has FM radio built in. What would be a good choice? It must meet the following:

a) good FM reception
b) inexpensive $100 or less
c) take SD cards for memory expansion

Thansk for the help

the only thing i can think of is probably the BenQ Joybee 130. It meets all of yur needs, ven the SD card expansion feat. 256MB is around $129 though (CDN) So maybe check out 128MB?

BenQ isn't a real reliable brand though.
Keep looking!

Shiro SX

The Shiro SX is a little over your price range (I got one for $115 new on eBay), but it has 256MB memory built in and a card slot which will take SD/MMC cards. It has an FM tuner that you can record from, can do voice recording, and can be used as a USB hard disk to store any sort of data.

But how's the navigation?
Sep 26, 2005 8:41AM PDT

I've read that you can't skip over from one folder to another... but the last post on that was from July of '05 so maybe that's been fixed now?
I'm hoping, since it has everything else I want, but for that one flaw...
But, the web site for them now shows an internal USB rechargable battery.... poop Sad
