The outdoor and marine products at http://www.nanovdisplay.com/outdoorproducts.htm are a start. Some if not all have the 12 volt option.

I have a cabin in WV not hooked up to the grid. Electricity for a few lights, radio, & pump is 12v DC. The source is from a small solar & battery system.
I'd like to find a larger-than-19" LCD monitor to watch movies from a laptop and a TV/VCR. Laptop and VCR unit run off 12v DC. I'd like to not have to use a noisy inverter that I have to power the screen.
Any suggestions for a DC-ready monitor that is larger than, say 20"? I believe the innards of monitors actually operate on DC--the 120v incoming AC is converted to DC current. I'd be willing to re-wire the screen to match the 12v DC, but this is not my preference, especially if it takes much talent.
