Question

What kind of laptop would work best for me?

Jun 30, 2017 4:10PM PDT

I am looking into buying a laptop. I would like to be able to download some games but I also need something that would work well for digital art. I don't necessarily need the biggest best computer, I just need something on the cheaper side that works. What things do I need to look out for when buying? Any specific suggestions?

For creating digital art you will be using Photoshop (guessing). To run photoshop smoothly its better if you have better graphics backed laptop. If you can spend around $1000 then the models recommended by @R.Proffitt are great for your requirements.

But, if you want something more affordable then here is the laptop which you can buy - https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-Intel-GeForce-E5-575G-75MD/dp/B01LD4MGR6/

It has very less powerful specs compared to the laptops recommended by @R.Proffitt but this laptop would get the work done.

Let's compare that 940mx to the GTX 1050
