This one is very simple. Crysis and the like mean you already know that you don't play those on Atom powered machines. Windows 8 will not change this (in case folk need to read this, I wrote it here.)
-> Only the brave and foolish would buy the new tablet before getting some benchmarks such as frames per second on those games on those tablets.
-> And worth repeating is that these tablets are not replacing gaming laptops. There has been no major breakthough that allows gamer PC performance on the tablets I'm seeing.

I'm planning on purchasing a Windows 8 (full) tablet in the coming months but cannot decide between the Clover Trail Atom cheaper tablets or the more expensive ivy bridge i core devices.
Can anyone here tell me what kind of games Clover Trail can handle? I plan on playing mostly adventure games (for example tales of monkey island and some other point and clicks), Worms and indie games and I have no intention of playing anything like Crysis, Skyrim or Battlefield 3 (I know it can't handle them, I built an i7 PC for them).
I will mostly be using the tablet for watching videos when I am abroad and on planes/trains, browsing the web and remote desktop control of my pc when I am in bed or away from my house. But I also want to play some games on it too.
So what is the most demanding game a Clover Trail tablet can handle? Is buying an i3 Windows 8 tablet overkill for my needs? I was looking at the Acer Iconia W700 but have decided that is too bulky, heavy and the stand is awful so am looking elsewhere for something more practical and maybe I don't need the i3 processing power.
