What kind of computer should I get because I'm a HUGE gamer

I've had a HP Notebook with a Windows 7 OS for a year and the HDD crashed on me for the 5th time in a row so I think it might be time for an upgrade, honestly I don't know a lot about the specifics so the information provided above is all I got, I apologize...I all I want to do is turn it on and play! lol

! Year and 5 Hdds ? You put this in Desktops, so I am assuming you are looking for a Desktop. You would want something like an Intel i5 based machine ( 2500 or 2500k ) with either Nividia GTX460 or above ir ATI 6770 or above and about 6 GB of Ram. You didn't say what the budget was that you were working with so couldn't go looking for suggestions.
