The computer actually tells you.....
Sep 4, 2010 12:44AM PDT

When the computer is booting up...watch carfully the bottom left of the monitor screen.... It tells you which key to press to go into SETUP... It may appear for less than a second, so watch carefully and intendedly..... Different brands and models use different keys..

[If every key sends you to safe mode - there may be a prblem with your computer]

Not all PCs tell you what key to press

There may be a selection in the BIOS to NOT display the alternate keypresses to get into the BIOS, or to get into other hardware setups, or to show the Boot device options.

Setting the selections to not display those other selections does not, usually, remove the options, just that it does not display. Pressing those other alternate boot-up keys will still function, but you have to know what to press what and when, essentially in the blind.

If this user can tell us what model of Systemax PC he has, then perhaps someone here can tell what the possibilities are.

Most Systmax Use F2... But...
Sep 4, 2010 9:16AM PDT

....unless you can tell us the exact model number of the computer, or the make and model number of the motherboard, it's hard to help much further.. Unfortunately, you've not told us much about the computer.. Laptop or desktop? Etc..

Hopefully, you've checked the Systemax website FAQ's?

Hope this helps.

Tried Using Belarc Advisor?
Sep 4, 2010 1:09PM PDT

Download the free Belarc Advisor tool from the link below, then install it and let is analyze your computer. Once the analysis is done, it should inform you of all the make and model number of the computer. You can also print out the information as well. It also should tell you the BIOS version and all other information about the hardware and software on the computer.

http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

And nope, you can't get to the BIOS from Safe Mode.

Hope this helps.
