Can someone explain what the Windows CE 6.0
operating system is????
I want to buy a new netbook at EBAY just to store a digital crossword puzzle dictionary and to keep track of my postmark collection but am not sure what the operating system is.

You can google it but it will not allow you to run your everyday apps you did on Windows.
You will find these for 99 bucks so there is a lot of attraction, mostly fatal.

I had one for a test run of apps we write for Windows Mobile and while it did access the internet and show some pictures even I couldn't find much use for it.
