Understand, these are proprietary speakers intended to be used only with the JVC systems they shipped with. And one of these looks to even have a 'sub' (likely, only a bass module) contained inside.
Sell them and move on to standard speaker fare ASAP.

I have two sets of speakers....
JVC SP-MXGB6..........Sub - 170W & 6ohm Speaker - 80W & 4ohm
JVC SP-MXGT88..........Sub - 176W & 6ohm Speaker - 70W & 4ohm
I have no clue what i'm doing when it comes to powering speakers with an amp or receiver. So, I am basically wondering what are the specs I should look for when buying a amp or receiver that can play music through all four speakers at once?
