I'm sure you can configure one like that at dell.com, although I'm not sure of the price.

Even with the same CPU and the same RAM, there might be small speed differences depending on motherboard, the graphics and the hard disk. So if you want the most powerful of all possible laptops you'll have to do benchmarks among them.

are coming with 64 gb of ram capability. Look at Asus, MSI, Lenovo and Acers new gaming machine. Gaming machines are the most powerfull laptops.

Rer: gaming machines

He explicitely says: no gaming.

Gaming machines, of course, tend to have a good video card. If Sony Vegas uses that for video editing, it might be a good investment. If not, or video editing isn't so VERY important, it might be overkill.

It will be very difficult to purchase a laptop with these stats for 1,119.2USD or 75,000 INR
Particularly laptops with a 6th Gen i7 will be pricy.
Not to mention the RAM you need.
I would recommend looking at 2015 laptops with 5th Gen i7 processors, they will be significantly cheaper.
Example:
http://www.amazon.com/Zenbook-15-6-Inch-Quantum-Dot-Touchscreen-i7-4712HQ/dp/B00NV9M6HC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1459015464&sr=8-4&keywords=ASUS+UX501
Great laptop, very fast, terrible battery life.

The bottom line is that premiere runs better with an SSD, and you won't be able to get an SSD and a 6th gen for that price. I strongly recommend getting a year-old model - you can get one with an extended warranty to protect it: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002I007SU/ref=psd_bb_lm_B00NV9M6HC_B002I007SU
You could even get this great Lenovo:
http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-ThinkPad-T450-Business-Ultrabook/dp/B015FJCXJG/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1459015891&sr=1-1&keywords=lenovo+t450
and purchase the RAM and SSD seperately to save big.

If you must get a model with a 6th Gen, I would recommend looking into getting this:

or if you want to spend more for a model with an SSD and 16gb this one:

I'll disagree.

Here my son got the just under 999USD Asus ROG with 16GB DDR4 and the 960M video then we cloned the HDD to a 120USD SSD (480GB size) with a 35USD Apricom clone kit.

It's blazing fast for the dollar and if you own the clone kit as I do it missed your 1119USD price by about 1 dollar.

True

But the guy says he doesn't want a gaming rig - for whatever reason.
But you should consider R. Proffitt's suggestion, Bohdi, as gaming rigs have a lot of what you're looking for.
You can also skip the clone kit and do a clean install on the SSD to avoid any of ASUS's bloatware.

There's another truth.

The best performers are the gaming models. As to ASUS bloatware, where is that found? We have this new model and can you share where it is?

The clean install is getting so involved today that unless the person does this a lot, I often find a client with a blank HDD or misbehaving Windows. Today, I find the advice to do a clean install way off target.

Perhaps that is old advice.
Mar 26, 2016 1:27PM PDT

My last model of Asus, a G73JH, - was full of frivolous ROG extras - Fancy Start, Smart Login, Turboboost, even 'Asus Splendid Video Enhancement Technology.' All software that is pretty unnecessary or the OS covers.
But that model was made 5 years ago - perhaps a lot has changed.
I find the units I have owned have run faster with a clean install.
One of the places I find reccomend this:
"Some benchmarks have found that upgrade installs perform more slowly than clean installs, which isn’t surprising. An upgrade install might have old bloatware and startup programs running in the background."

That's OK if folk know what they are in for.
Mar 26, 2016 1:52PM PDT

Most folk burn up due to many issues. Their first friction point is that a clean install needs a Windows license. They are not entitled to Windows just because it came with Windows. So they are out another 100+ bucks. Then the drivers are not so hard but on many laptops you must install apps (some that don't know call them bloatware) to turn on things like WiFi or control audio level and so on.

I've seen that article and credit it for creating work for my friends at many service counters. Why should I warn folk off?

Model that my son just picked up? It's this one. http://www.amazon.com/GL552VW-DH71-15-Inch-Discrete-GeForce-Metallic/dp/B01578ZKPO

Sorry for the mistake I made, I pressed the submit by accident.
What I want to say is .... I know MSI has designed the workstation for the person who needs to do the architectural design, photographs, or even programming~ which is good enough for your requirement.
