i have a dell 5160 (said to be dell worst laptop) and i love it! it has been a good preformer and even pulls medium low settings in BF2 (go 5200) also the dell tech support was great! i called once on the phone (waiting and all) only 30mins and got my new power adapter next day shiping... needed a new motherboard called only one hour on the phone and got a technician sent to my house 2 days from that fixed it... so i find nothing wrong with dell i just something more powerfull now

That's not a gaming rig...

...It uses an ATI X1300 graphics card. Plus, water cooling can be a pain in the butt, and imagine if it leaks. That Dell looks pretty good, except for the graphics card. Then there's the issue of the Dell crapware. If you order the Windows reinstallation disk, you'll be able to format the hard drive and have a fresh copy of Windows without any of the crapware.

For the poster wanting to buy a good gaming system for less than $1,000.00; exactly how old are you? Have you finished high school yet? Your grammar and spelling are horrible.

If you are still in high school; I may be much older than you but I can certainly say that I did and still do appreciate my teachers from grade school level through my high school years for instilling in me the fortitude to spell words correctly; to use good grammar and to compose an understandable sentence as well.

Where would you buy it from?
Jun 21, 2006 9:42AM PDT

A Sempron in a $1,000 system? Very bad value for the dollar. Good luck blasting the crapware. By the way, you won't be too happy with the performance of that X600. I have one (not HyperMemory), and it sucks, even though I've overclocked it.

His post was deleted by the moderator. He said what ever his company was was a better deal then this dell, whatever!

I've read most people who get the dell system upgrade it anyways even for casual gaming.

That's what I'm going to do maybe.

I'm decided to wait and see what new deals they have tomorrow because I think they change tomorrow.
