what is the difference between LTE and VOLTE?

i had taken new mobile and service providers are advertised new VOLTE feature updated but my mobile not have that feature.
i did not understand that.

Or Voice Over LTE. I really fear you have a bad carrier if they don't answer basic questions like this. Yes you could google it, but if the carrier and seller don't answer a basic question, what good are they?

LTE came first and was used for transmission of higher speed data only. VOLTE combined simultaneous voice and data over the same network.
