Question

What is the default administrator password for BlankOn LIVE?

by vijay1700 / December 3, 2017 7:00 AM PST

Does anyone know what is the default administrator password for BlankOn Tambora's Live Version? Can we save updates if we have installed this live version on a USB Pendrive? Because I "think" the settings won't get save once you logout of "Live" version, is it so?

"But the plans were on display…”
“On display? I eventually had to go down to the cellar to find them.”
“That’s the display department.”
“With a flashlight.”
“Ah, well, the lights had probably gone.”
“So had the stairs.”
“But look, you found the notice, didn’t you?”
“Yes,” said Arthur, “yes I did. It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard.”

I tried admin, Admin, 12345, blank, Blank, abcde, ABCDE, blank, Blank, BlankOn, Blank-On, root, Root, ROOT, Live, LIVE, Finally just "live" worked! It seems to be developed by Indonesian developers, and they have used their language at most of the websites, which I cannot understand - Even Google could not translate, though FaceBook did.

Use the same password you entered when it was installed. Since this is LIVE version, typically the user is already administrator and there is no password needed. However with exceptions it tends to be root or the name of the distro. You can only save things to the flashdrive you loaded the LIVE version on if you also had set up "persistence" on it at the time of installation.
