What is the best webmail service?

Feb 4, 2010 7:48AM PST

Traditionally I think Gmail nowadays, but just wanted to see if there are compelling reasons to go with Hotmail/Live Mail or Yahoo! Mail. I haven't used a webmail service in years, because I've been using "captive" college email systems.

IMHO, ATT/Yahoo! is the worst possible eMail service
May 3, 2010 3:45AM PDT

Here in West Hartford, CT, I'm blowing a gasket over the execrable service provided by ATT/Yahoo! on eMail. I get "Timed Out" messages, something like "...we're having trouble right now and will send your message later..." but then the jerks NEVER SEND THE EMAIL !.
But the worst of all is when I answer an eMail and ERASE it. Thinking it's over and done with, a day later the SAME EMAIL SHOWS UP AGAIN IN THE IN BOX.!
You end up talking up to yourself wondering if you answered the eMail the first time or just what the hell happened.
Oh, I have a litany of problems, not the least of them is the fact that the whole stupid thing slows down to the point that it acts more like DIAL UP RATHER THAN DSL.
But as I said, that's my opinion. Maybe it has to do with the local wiring. But even then, the person to person contact is "Snotty."

I'm also using Gmail and currently I think it's quite good because you can get quite large space of storage..Happy
