What is the best way to store CD/DVDs?

Dec 2, 2005 8:32PM PST

Is it okay to stand them up, like in most retail stores for example, or am I supposed to lay them flat? I recently overheard this "horror story" concerning CDs and oxidation, warping, longevity. . .

So, not to sound like a broken record, but, what is the best way to store CD/DVDs?

Also, can I get away with rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth to clean them or do I need a "special" CD/DVD cleaner?

It answers, like, every question I might possibly have.
50 pages of info - It's like taking a drink from a firehose!
And it's free! I almost feel guilty (almost).

Thank you very much.

I'm just gonna spend a ''billion dollars'' on inkjet cartridges to print it out Happy
