Thanks for the advice. I wonder what the best plan of attack would be to find all my photos on an individual drive if they are in multiple folders. Could there be some hidden folders that I would have to look for? Is this going to be a tedious process of searching through folders one at a time, or are there more efficient ways of tackling the problem?
Please bear with me, I'm a rookie needing some advice. I have a new MB Air and I want to make sure it starts off organized as best as possible and have the least amount of headaches going forward.
Here's my situation:
I have the HD from my old MB Pro, plus a secondary SSD. Both have photos on them in various folders. I want to find all photos from these sources and combine them into one source. What can I do besides searching all folders on these drives one by one?
My MBA has a 120GB flash drive. The secondary drive is a 240GB SSD. Should I use Apple's Cloud to keep all my photos, or should I use a separate HD for all my photos and use a cloud backup system such as CrashPlan to back everything up? I only have about 30GB of photos at present, but want to get into more photography in the future now that our family has expanded.
Any feedback/advice would be appreciated.
