i suggest checking out the zune or the cowon's. I have a zen vision M and i don't know why u dislike it but i love it. It just takes a bit of time to get used to it. Walk down to your nearest best buy and test one out.
Okay. For a long time I was using no mp3 player, but then decided to buy a Toshiba Gigabeat S 30. It was a pretty nice device, but it had terrible battery life so I sent it back to Amazon.com for another one. Well the same thing happened. Plus I dropped this one when I fell asleep on the bus. Bummer, I know.
Anyway my parents said that for one last time I can exchange my Gigabeat for a different mp3 player.
Can you guys please help me in purchasing the best mp3 player out there? Here are some issues I have about them though and what my needs are:
1. I do not like Creative Zens. I think they are too fat and I hate the scroll bar thing.
2. I am reluctant to buy an Ipod because I hear they can have battery problems and you have to use I-tunes and they scratch and get dirty pretty easily if I recall correctly. However, they are the most popular device out there so if anyone can help to convince me of this, maybe I would just go with a black Ipod.
Now here are my preferences:
1. It has to be black.
2. It has to be at least 20GB
3. I'd prefer video playback
4. I'd prefer it to be relatively thin and small
5. I'd highly prefer it to have a case (even if sold separately)
6. I'd highly prefer it to have a wire-in remote control (even if sol separately)
I know this may sound strange, being as I just had two Gigabeat S 30s and wasn't happy with them, but I was actually consider Toshiba's thinner F series - the 20GB black one actually. Do you guys think this is a good mp3 player? I need to get this next right. Thanks alot.
