If you go to http://www.youtube.com/ and click on any of the video links, the video should play in your browser window.

If it does, then that is "streamed video". What does that mean? It means that, instead of having to download a video file, save it on your hard drive, then run that file to view the video in your media player, it is 'streamed' to your browser instantaneously. The browser and the web site's server does all the hard work.

How do you use it? You don't have to do anything special. If you visit a web site that offers streamed video or audio, everything will be done for you.

Does that help?
