What is static contrast ratio on B650/B750

Apr 4, 2009 3:35AM PDT

Hi!
Thanks a lot for your last reply to my note, extremely quick!

Right now I?m searching a model as a replacement for 40A866.
CCFL models 40B650 and above seem to full fill my requirements. The LED models are missing headphone jack (except B7000 Canada!). That?s annoying, I use this issue on 2.1 sound system to control the volume by TV?s remote. RF remote control feature on B8000 and above breaks up even the use of universal remote... uhh two remote controls for TV. There should be a option to control HT sound level by TV remote (others than Samsung...)

Please, forward this "wish" to your development team.

Probably my choice will be between B650/B750 (Nordic).
The question:
- What is static contrast on B650/B750 models? The specs refers only to dynamic contrast 100 000 and 150 000.
- Are there cooling fans on B650/B750 and LED models?
Thank you in advance.

Mike-Boy,

Happy to help.

1. The specs you're able to find online are the specifications I have. I don't have static contrast measurements.
2. Let me see if I can find an answer on the fan question.

Mike-Boy,

I've tried following up, but haven't gotten very far on the fan issue. Since not all our products are out, I don't have a definitive answer for that. My guess is "in most cases no", but the last time I said that, someone posted a picture of a unit that had one.

I jut don't have a definitive ansewr.

Cooling fan

Hi!
My guess is, that both B650/B750 has cooling fan, based on A866 which had two fans (almost same device cabinet and CCFL). I?m worried about fan noise.

But the new LED series are more interesting, lower consumption means lower temperature, but also lower tolerance for temperature. Probably in both cases there is at least a fan for processor?

Any way, thanks for your help. I can set this case closed.
Have a happy Easter!

Mike-Boy,

And to you and yours. Thanks!

If I can get some more information on the internals, I'll post them.
