What Is Native File Copying?

Feb 12, 2005 9:06AM PST

I just installed a 2nd HHD to use as the destination for backing up my primary HHD. I am considering Stomp Backup MyPC, but one of the reviews says that it lacks "Native File Copying" capability.

I don't know what Native Files are as opposed to any other kinds of files. Does this programs lack of ability to copy Native Files render it essentially not a program that could "fully" restore a HHD to include all programs and the OS?

Can someone explain to me what Native Files are and how they differ from other files?

Thanks,

G.F.K.
