What is googlechlink? Virus?

Getting alerts to my phone from "googlechlink". Is this a virus? Couldnt find anything from Google...

Most of the time I find it's some app the owner installed. There has not been a virus on Android or iOS so far so the answer to that is no.

Remember you are in a spyware forum so we'll stick to what a virus is. Trojans, malware and just bad software are something else.

Factory resetting always clears up these things but some smart phone users never did a backup. Shame.
