What is DCDi

What is DCDi, and what exactly does it do. I was ant J&R Music World tonite, and some sales guy was trying to explain but I really didn't understand the guy. All I know is that it converts regular DVD movies into HD Picture. Is this correct.

A form of picture conversion, take things like VCR's DVD's etc, plug them into an upconverter box, or in some cases there are projectors with DCDi built in, and Ta Da, you are supposed to have a better picture. Of course the picture had to be pretty good to begin with, nothing can take a bad picture and make it look great.

My wife who is Japanese and only learned to speak Enrish about 8 years ago, was looking over my shoulder. She asked what DCDi meant so I showed her the article. She had some difficulty understanding.

She went to Yahoo Japan and found an explanation that she said was much more crear. Prease see here:

I goofed. That was Chinese. I can tell the difference but I was tired and didn't look carefully. So guess who has to take his futon and sleep in the garage tonight?
