All I can offer is there is a hotfix out beyond SP4 that has comsetup.dll in it.
You've entered DLL hell and the 3rd party needs to be told.
What you didn't tell is if your machine has all the latest SP4 and critical updates.
Hi, Actually my problem is i had a intranet web site runing just fine. And i installed another software and then my site was not functioning.
My site actually runs with webservicer which access the WSDL files and then SOAP Server which actually get the results from the COM+.
I actaully made copy of WINNT folder before the 3rd party software installataion and after the software installation, I ran the Windiff and found that some of the files were different and my site would give a problem saying that COM+ failed, notify the developer...
I assume that this would be a setup problem affected when the 3rd party software installed.
Can anybody understand what could have gone wrong. What does the comsetup.dll do?
