What I zip down to first before reading the rest: I look at the 01 and 07 smart values on the drives. We want to see zero's. One of the usual findings is this is off the charts.
So I built a desktop PC and have been having trouble with it stuttering, just for a split second, during gaming or even just when listening to Spotify sometimes. The audio and the video does it, there's an audible stutter sound and the video skips. Does it with both games I've played so far (Sims 3 and Elder Scrolls Online). I'm thinking either the CPU or the video card are insufficient. Any thoughts? Here are the specs:
256 GB SSD, 1 TB magnetic hard drive (happens whether game is running on SSD or the other hard drive).
