Magento would be best- we are also using it

Hi There,
If you have a plan to sale your product for long time then you should consider the platform wisely. Open card and Oscommerce is OK for small quantity of products but if you have more than 500 products and have regular visitors [approximately 3-5k visitors and 10-15K page view per day] you may consider magento Community Edition [CE] and start growing up your business. If you have any plan to start multivendor store like ours you should buy a multivendor extension and it will give you the freedom to work as team. Once you grown up a lot and you will need more powerful platform and Magento also has that solution know as Enterprise Edition [EE] and that time you can do billion dollar business with your shopping site.
So, think and take your decision wisely since it's very difficult to migrate from one platform to another. Best of luck!!!

Answer
Open Source
Sep 9, 2015 10:09PM PDT

Hello,

I suggest to use Open Cart.
This provides a secure dashboard for all of your vendors, and you can manage the products from every single seller on the marketplace. The quick monthly payment feature is a nice touch, and the vendors even receive automatic email notifications when a buyer pays. As another open source solution, Opencart requires a little technical knowledge, but it works for all business sizes.

Have a great day!
