Jan 13, 2011 1:32AM PST

Hi,
What is ASUS Live Update Ver 2.5.9 for already installed on my brand new ASUS notebook? Is it the best choice for the purpose it was created for? Thans a million for your simple and clear explanations in advance.
Best,
Danesh

My IBM ThinkPad . . .

Has live update. Basically it will access the ASUS site and look for updates to the PC. This could include device drivers for audio, video, drives, etc.

Try it and see what happens.

Does it look for updates for all the software installed
Jan 13, 2011 1:11PM PST

Hi dear friend,
Thank you. But for what software does it look for updates? Does it look for updates for all the software installed on my machine? Something like what "FileHippo Update Checker" does? Or, it looks for updates for some specific software only, say, for the utilites bundled in "ASUS Utility" folder?
Yours,
Danesh

As I said above, try it.

My IBM updates has two options. Machine specific and software specific.
