What kind of software is route tracer, can I use it to find out if someone is using my Internet through my router?

Sorry but that's not the right tool.

The easy way to keep them out is noted in the CNET Networking Forum. Here's the short short short version.

1. Router defaults.
2. Just the changes needed for your ISP.
3. A SIMPLE SSID (do not hide.)
4. WPA2 AES for wifi security.

That's it.
