What is a good router and notebook card to purchase?

Feb 5, 2007 2:02AM PST

I recently brought a notebook trying to figure out the best way to get wireless services. I have heard a lot of bad things about d-link and linksys. So I trying to figure out which to choices or should I look into sprint, cingular or verizon?

I've used dlink, linksys and netgear.

All of the products are working just fine. If I had any complaint it was that every product arrived with outdated firmware in the router which I had to update.

If you were looking for a product without flaw you didn't list one and I don't think it exists.

Just last week I picked up the cheapest netgear for my dad and it worked just fine.

Could you be more specific about the issue you fear?
