What is a good program for ripping dvd movies?

Mar 22, 2005 12:27PM PST

I'm new to the c/net forums and I need some advice.
I'm planning on buying a mp3 jukebox/video player and I want to copy a bunch of dvd movies onto it. What programs would you recommend for this purpose? Please get back to me on this. Thank you.

Are these DVDs your own creation? Or are you trying to copy commercial DVD movies? How big is your player?

A player with a built in HDD I guess? If this exists, dvdshrink can shrink those dvd to the size you wish...100gig equals about 20 dvd quality movies.
