What is a good gaming laptop?

Aug 3, 2016 5:36PM PDT

Hi there,
I am looking for a good gaming laptop? My budget is close to $1000. I would like to find one that is a little under $1000. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey Peter,

Based on your criteria, I would suggest that you take a look at the Best Gaming Laptops under $1000 guide over at techspectacle.com.

If you're in a rush then the #1 laptop is the HP Pavilion 15 Gaming Laptop.

It's the best all-round pick around $1000 with a great CPU and GPU, speedy SSD and IPS HD screen.

"2016 isn't over" so with the upcoming new GPUs it won't be long till the next best thing arrives.

My wife is looking at the 17 inch model of the Asus ROG I linked to. It's not the best out there but best I found for the dollar. That is, yes, it only has the 960m but it delivers for what she uses the laptop for. The Sims.
